How can I contact The Merchant Fox?
Please contact The Merchant Fox on +4(0)1823 426101 and we would be happy to assist you. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday; 9am - 5pm, alternatively outside these hours your can leave a telephone message or email enquiries@themerchantfox.co.uk.
Do you have a retail store?
The Merchant Fox does not have a retail shop. The best way to browse our collection is via our website, where you'll be able to see our full range of garments and accessories.

PAYMENT METHODS
How can I choose to pay on themerchantfox.co.uk?
The following payment methods are accepted by the Merchant Fox: American Express, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta, MasterCard, Maestro UK, Maestro International, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment by cash or cheque for online orders. Please note that American Express will seek authorisation directly from the cardholder before authorising us to deliver orders to an address other than the billing address.
All prices on The Merchant Fox are stated in £'s sterling, unless stated otherwise, and include VAT where applicable.
YOUR ORDER
How do I cancel/change an order?
In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we would be happy to offer a refund within 14 days of receipt. All returns must be agreed in advance. In order to change the details of your order, you must notify The Merchant Fox within 12 hours. Please have the order number and date the order was placed to hand. As we endeavour to process orders immediately, after this time we are unable to amend your order and would request that you return the goods once they have been delivered.
How do I track my order?
You are able to track your parcel online by simply clicking the link shown on your confirmation of dispatch email.
How do I know if my order has been received?
After placing your order with The Merchant Fox you will be sent an email to acknowledge that we have received your order and when your item(s) will be ready for dispatch.
DELIVERY
What happens if I am not in when the parcel arrives?
For UK orders, if our couriers are unable to obtain a signature they will attempt one further delivery on a later date. If this delivery attempt is also unsuccessful, a calling card will be left and your parcel will be returned to your local carriers depot or post office.

The Merchant Fox can also not be held liable should local customs officials decide to hold or confiscate items for any reason.

Will I incur import duties?
The Merchant Fox cannot be held liable for any import duties payable on orders made and recommends that all customers make themselves aware of such local charges before ordering. Will I be charged VAT?
For export of item(s) outside the European Union the current VAT (value added tax) rate will be deducted at the time of goods dispatch where applicable.
RETURNS
My order is incomplete or items are damaged, what should I do?
In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is broken, faulty, deficient of items shown on the delivery note, or fails to match the items you ordered, we will be pleased to replace this item free of charge. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt if this is the case as all returns must be agreed in advance. Please call us during office hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm GMT on: +44 (0)1823 426101or email us at: enquiries@themerchantfox.co.uk. If we require the item to be returned to us we will refund the cost of postage. Unless we receive notification within 3 days, you will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory.
What if I need a refund?
In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we would be happy to offer a refund within 14 days of receipt. All returns must be agreed in advance. We regret that the delivery costs incurred in returning any items to The Merchant Fox will not be refunded, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods.
Any EU or International customer must use our return service.
What if I need to have an item repaired?
We work with a small number of manufacturers in Britain and the majority of our items come with a standard manufacturers' guarantee, although this will vary depending upon the manufacturer. Please telephone us in the first instance so that we can advise you further.
E-GIFT CARDS
Do you offer gift cards?
We offer The Merchant Fox E-Gift Cards to be used online via our website: www.themerchantfox.co.uk.
These are available via our E-Gift Cards collection.
How do I use The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card?
Once you have purchased The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card, you shall receive an email with all the relevant details. Within the email, you will receive a discount code to use at checkout. Once the discount code has been entered into the designated entry field, the qualifying discount will be applied to your total cart price.
Should you encounter any issues with using The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card, please contact our customer service team for further assistance.
Can I use several The Merchant E-Gift Cards on the same purchase?
You are welcome to use a gift card along with a discount code. These codes would need to be applied separately within the entry field.
However, you may only use one e-gift card per purchase.
When will The Merchant Fox E-Gift Cards expire?
The Merchant Fox E-Gift Cards are valid for 2 years from the original purchase date. These may be used towards products on our website: www.themerchantfox.co.uk.
Are there any restrictions on what can be purchased with The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card?
You can use The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card towards products on our website: www.themerchantfox.co.uk
However, please be advised that The Merchant Fox E-Gift Cards cannot be applied to other e-gift cards. They also cannot be used at any of our trade shows or pop-up events.
Will I be able to receive a refund for a purchase made with The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card?
You are still entitled to receive a refund for any purchase made with The Merchant Fox E-Gift Card or discount code. Any applicable refund will be issued in the form of the original payment method. This may include a combination of an e-gift card, discount code, and any other relevant payment methods.
If in the event that the refund exceeds the amount originally paid with the e-gift card and/or discount code, the excess amount will be issued to the additional payment methods used to complete the original transaction.
SECURE SHOPPING
Will you pass my information on to other companies?
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. Your personal details will only be used by The Merchant We collect and store this information to allow us to fulfil your orders and to occasionally send you special offers and product information. Your details may also be forwarded securely to our delivery and payment partners in order to fulfill each order. Data collected will not be passed on to any other third parties. The Merchant Fox do not store any credit card details. Any data stored is kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
