This quintessentially English bakerboy cap is a traditional 1930's 8 panel cap with a covered button in the centre of the crown, studded curved peak.

Hand cut using a selection of Fox Brothers' cloth. Each stitch and piece of fabric is carefully placed, to create a beautiful and intricate pattern that is truly exceptional. The combination of timeless grey patterns sewn in an irregular and spontaneous patchwork design, adds to the charm and uniqueness of the piece, in order to add style and sophistication to any outfit.

Midnight blue inner lining has been purposefully selected for this particular cap, in order to complement the grey of the patchwork cloth.

PROVENANCE [ PANEL CAP ]

Each cap is handmade in Yorkshire by one of last remaining hatters left in Britain. Every cap is moulded onto shaped 'lasts' using age-old techniques that are becoming rare in the UK.

The pure wool check flannel used for these caps is woven by Fox Brothers & Co Ltd. Established in 1772, Fox has a rich history of producing fine woollen and worsted cloths in Somerset and some of the people involved in the weaving of this extraordinary cloth are the fourth generation of their family to work for Fox Brothers.
